Sackets Harbor Quilt Show announces a TAUNY Program and Exhibit at the show: Selections from the Northern New York Quilt Project
Traditional Arts in Upstate New York’s Executive Director and folklorist Jill Breit spent 14 months on the road with historian Hallie Bond to document quilts old and new in New York’s North Country. The result of this documentary work was shared in TAUNY’s 2016 exhibit, “Warmth, Remembrance, and Art: 200 Years of Quilts and Comforters in Northern New York.“
The Sackets Harbor Quilt Show welcomes TAUNY’s Jill Breit to the Saturday program schedule at the Quilt Show to share examples of what she and Hallie found in the North Country. North Country quilts on view as well as TAUNY exhibit materials and program talk with Jill.
Program: Saturday, October 6, 2018
