Stitchwork on the Needles

One of our very talented local knitters has a project on the needles, and it’s a beauty! This hand-crafted throw, which we call “Peggy’s Pine Cones” is knit from Katia Paint yarn, a cozy blend of acrylic and wool with a very soft hand. The yarn is dyed to knit up in tonal stripes of warm raspberry, charcoal, coffee and cream. This throw is one of the raffle items at the Quilt Show, with afghan raffle ticket sale proceeds to benefit Hay Memorial Library’s interior spaces “Refresh and Renew” Project.

IMG_7424.jpgBeginning September 5  “Peggy’s Pine Cones” will be on view at the Library.  Come on in and check it out! Tickets for “Peggy’s Pine Cones”  go on sale at the library on September 5 and continue through October 7.

You can also get raffle tickets during the quilt show, with the drawing at the show on Sunday afternoon, October 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the library.
